Letter To the Future

We are a bunch of hopeful people wanting to leave more good behind in the world than what we’ll consume in our precious time on Earth. We hope to make age old hand embroidery art cool again and shine a brighter light at natural fabrics such as cotton, khadi, hemp etc. To rewrite their stories and showcase they can be the star of a grand event too. Just like their harmful synthetic counterparts.

With Mrigdhi we hope to start a butterfly effect, a small chain reaction of conscious actions taken to alter the course of this beautiful planet we call home.

How & what

Our Craft

At Mrigdhi, with a focus on natural fabrics and the age-old art of hand embroidery, we aim to weave together ethical practices, cultural preservation, and environmental consciousness, creating a unique and meaningful connection between fashion, art, and community.

We believe that fashion should not come at the expense of the environment or the well-being of communities. That's why we work to contribute to a more sustainable and eco-friendly fashion industry.

Our creations are more than just garments; they are an embodiment of timeless beauty and elegance. Instead of going with the trends we aim at making pieces that’ll not only last you longer but will also never be “out of fashion”.

Inspired by Indian culture and nature's hues, our designs strike a harmonious balance between traditional aesthetics and contemporary styles.

In the age of everyday changing trends, fashion hauls, shopping hacks & retail therapy, we believe in taking our sweet time in creating outfits that are one of a kind and unique to your personal style. We believe in building habits of slow consumption rather than finding easy fixes to “fit into” everyday changing trends.

From Our Hands To Your Hearts

Our Community

A design is just that, a design. Till it is on paper. It is the vision and skill of our artists who make it a reality.

At Mrigdhi, sustainable fashion meets artistry. We are a close-knit community of talented artisans. This local community of artists bring their skills and passion to create beautiful shades by fabric dying, exquisite patterns using hand embroidery, and modern designs by sharp stitching to create masterpieces. Together, we are not just a team but a chosen family, bound by shared values and a commitment to preserving age-old art forms.

Leaving a Positive Impact

Our Promise

Our approach centers around four core principles:

  • Natural Fabrics: We exclusively use natural fabrics sourced from eco-friendly and renewable resources. From breathable organic cotton to soft hemp and elegant linen, our collection showcases the beauty and versatility of natural textiles. Fabrics that can decompose easily after the end of their life cycle.
  • Empowering Local Artisans: At Mrigdhi, we celebrate the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship. We collaborate with skilled artisans from different regions, supporting their traditional artistry and ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions with a strict no child labour policy.
  • Minimal Impact: We prioritize eco-conscious production processes and work diligently to minimize our environmental footprint. From using low-impact dyes to reducing waste through mindful manufacturing, we strive to create a circular fashion system.
  • Transparent Communication: We believe in transparent communication with our customers. We provide information about the origins of our fabrics, the artisans behind each creation, and the positive impact their purchase makes on the environment and society.
